Meet and assistance on arrival. Departure te Gjirokastra City. On the way to Gjirokastra we can Visit Castle of Ali Pasha of Tepelena in Tepelena City, the castle has existed since in antiquity but is rebuilt by Ali Pasha in 1819 in surface of 4-5 hectares with three entrance and three towers. This castle has been his second residence. We continue to Gjirokastra city which is called different City of Stone. Its protected by UNESCO. We visit the Castle of the city, which is built in IV century, National Museum of Weapons, the Chuch, old Bazaar and its charactersitc shops. In the afternoon transfer to Saranda. On the way to Saranda we visit the “Blue Eye” Spring ( Syri I Kalter), Mesopotamian Monastery, Saint Nichola Church which belongs to Byzantine Period. Also we will visit the ancient city of Foinika. Then we visit the ancient city of Butrinti part of world heritage protected by UNESCO. The ancient city dates since the VIII Century B.C. The guide of Butrint introduces the visits in Acropolis which belongs to the VIII century B.C., the Asklep Temple (the healing god) of IV century B.C.,the Gate of the Lake of IV century B.C.,the Roman theatre of III century B.C. Agoraja- the main trading center of the city, the gymnasium, a holy pagan place, the grand basilica of the VI century AC, a roman house, a fountain which belongs to the II century B.C., the castle, and the Venetian Tower of the 14-16 century A.C.
