Program:
Day 1: Rinas – Gjirokaster
After the arrival, transfer to Girokastra. – Dinner ( Optional: During the dinner Albanian Folk Group with traditional music).
Day 2: Gjirokaster – Libohove – Labove e Kryqit – Antigonea – Permet
08:30 – City tour of Gjirokastra, visiting Ethnographic Museum( House where ex-dictator Enver Hoxha was born), Castle of Gjirokastra, Weapon Museum which is inside the castle. Departure to Libohova a small city in east of Gjirokastra. In Libohova will start our hiking, first we visit the castle of Libohova build by Ali Pashe Tepelena in XVIII century, was a present for his sister after her marriage with one of the member of Libohova family, the most influent family of the area. We continue te Labove e Kryqit visiting the Bizantine Church of 13th century, then we hike through the villages of valley heading to Saraqinisht village where we visit National Park of Antigonea which was build in III – II before our era, and also two churches one of XVI and another of XVII century. Transfer to Permet, accomodation in the hotel. Dinner
Day 3: Permet – Buali Village – Permet
Breakfast in the hotel. City Tour of Permeti. We start our day visiting the big rock of the city which is symbol of Permeti where we can have a view of the city and Vjosa river. Then we continue to tradition of famous Gliko (Manyfacture), which is speciality product and traditional of Permeti and is made from(Figs, Watermelon, Eggplant, Plums, Walnut etc..). After we visit the left tatters of Illyrian Castle ( Bolenge). Will finish our day hiking through the Village of Buali.
Day 4: Permet – “Sheepskin Bridge” Canyon – Benja “Thermal Waters”- Sotira Farm
Breakfast in the hotel. Today will hike through the “Sheepskin Bridge” Canyon which is part of Lengarica river. This canyon in some ares 2m wide and 10m highest and in lower part becomes 10-15m wider and up to 150m high. Is very healthy for it’s curative waters, where are created the thermal waters of Benja. This curative waters are used by many visitors that have problems with stomach, skin, and rheumatism. Transfer to Sotira farm. Accodomation and dinner in the complex.
Day 5: Sotira Farm – Shelegur – Germenj – Korca
Breakfast in the hotel. Our hiking today will start with Sheleguri lake, walking around the villages and forest of Germenji, will enjoy the greenes and beauty nature of the area. Lunch will be packed enjoyed in the open nature. Back to Farma Sotira, check out. Departure to Korca, accommodation in the hotel, dinner.
Day 6: Korce – Drenove – Dardha Village.
07:30 Breakfast in the hotel. Departure to Drenova, from here will start our hiking to Village of Dardha. The trail goes through the National Park ( Fir of Drenova). Short breaks according to the program. Arrival in Dardha, accommodation. Lunch with traditional food of the area. Free time to visit the Village of Dardha, streets by stone and typical houses. Dinner.
Day 7: Dardha Village – Korce – Voskopoje.
Breakfast in the hotel. Departure to Voskopoja, short break to Korca. We continue to Voskopoja, lunch in Voskopoja with traditional food. Short tour of the town, visiting Byzantine Churches, typical houses, and streets with stone. Accomodation in the hotel, free time. Dinner.
Day 8: Voskopoje – Pogradec – Tirana
08:00 Breakfast in the hotel. Hiking around Voskopoja hills, enjoying the nature and great view of the town from the above the hills. Back to Voskopoja, check out. Transfer to Progradec, lunch in Tushemisht a picturesque place of Pogradeci. After lunch transfer to Tirana, accommodation , free time. Dinner.
Day 9: Tirana – Rinas Airport
08:00 Breakfast. Transfer to the airport depending on the flight time. End of our service.
